Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be part of Sony’s PlayStation Plus January 2025 line-up of free games, alongside Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. The games will be available for PlayStation Plus subscribers on January 7, 2025.
The renowned London-based video game studio famous for its Batman: Arkham franchise has never been the same since the launch of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The shift in focus of Rocksteady Studios from making incredible single-player experiences to an absolute dumpster fire of a live-service title has scarred its reputation.
Criticized for its live-service elements, uninteresting gameplay design, and questionable narrative choices, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League struggled in terms of sales and overall reception. Warner also shared that it lost about $200 million due to the game being a huge commercial failure.
Now, with the game’s offline mode made available last month on December 10, 2024, Rocksteady will stop supporting the title when Season 4 – Episode 8 comes out this month, leaving it dead in the water.
All December 2024 PlayStation Plus games will be available until January 6, 2025. Be sure to get them before they disappear!
