Game company Sony Interactive Entertainment has recently confirmed a recent leak about the PlayStation Plus Video Pass, but it is not what you think.
SIE’s Nick Maguire recently spoke the media outlet Spider’s Web to explain about the video pass. He confirmed that it is true, but it is a trial service and is running in Poland for a year. It offers 21 movies and TV shows at no extra cost for the subscribers of the service.
The pass will come in a form of a PS4/PS5 app, which will first allow PS Plus members to watch 21 movies and TV. The list can be viewed below. More titles will be added to the list every three months and there will be no change to the price in Poland for the subscription fee.
Maguire does not know when this kind of feature will be available for other regions. The test will allow SIE to gauge which titles are popular and how often the app will be used by the members.
