Pokémon Scarlet and Violet players will be able to unlock two legendary Pokémon via a new event coming to the two games.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Legendary Pokémons Revealed

According to the August Pokémon Presents event, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will be getting the legendary Pokémons Mew and Mewtwo via the event called “Get Mew and Mewtwo”. Players can get Mew today by navigating to the Mystery Gift menu and entering the password “GETYOURMEW” before September 18, 2023.

Mewtwo on the other hand will be available in a Tera Raid Battle starting on September 1 until September 17, 2023. The Pokémon Company did not offer specific details, but it did tease that if Mew and Mewtwo would meet in battle, players will unlock “something special”.

Tera Raid Battles Before Mewtwo’s Appearance

There will be more build-up Tera Raid Battle events before the reveal of Mewtwo’s. Wave 1 will take place from August 9 to August 17, 2023 and Wave 2 will be from August 18 to August 31, 2023.

Aside from this big announcement, the event also announced the release date of the first major expansion of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are now available exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
