Sony Interactive Entertainment will be pronouncing once again the upcoming free PS4 and PS5 games in a few weeks. Just like before though, it is that time again: the PS Plus August 2022 predictions of titles that will be part of the gaming library.
SIE will be revealing the PS Plus August 2022 free games that will be included to the PS Plus subscription this coming July 27, 2022 as scheduled. Any event at that date could change the reveal, which is a rare occasion. PS Plus subscribers will have to wait for a bit for the exciting news and after a week, the lineup of free games will be available to download.
SIE has not shared any hints on which games will be part of the free game giveaway for next month. Fans can only guess which titles will be added to the lineup soon. And with that, here are our own PS Plus August 2022 predictions.

Hot Wheels Unleashed – Essential PS5, PS4
Hot Wheels Unleashed is a good racing title that unfortunately got ignored by players last year. It does need a big boost to gain more players to play the game and with the help of PS Plus, that could happen easily.
The game offers tons of tracks to race on with a lot of miniature cars to drive. The tracks are wacky with many twists and turns, but it is a lot of fun.
Sekiro Shadows Die Twice – PS4
One of the most popular titles made by FromSoftware before the latest title Elden Ring. Sekiro Shadows Die Twice revolutionized Souls like gaming as it had a different playstyle that previous Dark Souls game did not have: faster action, smooth traversal, and countering attacks was smooth to act on.
It is a good game to have and would be the best time to introduce as part of PS Plus next month.
Observer System Redux – PS5, PS4
Observer System Redux is another popular game for its horror element. It got remastered for both PlayStation consoles with tons of visual upgrades and enhancements for the PS5 version. While this is available on the Extra and Premium subscription, this could be introduced to Essential subscribers too.
