Sony Interactive Entertainment has recently released the PSVR2 headset worldwide but it seems it came with issues.
There is currently a new thread on the PSVR reddit that has numerous posts of complaints about the PSVR2’ controllers. Specifically, the users are complaining about the right Sense controller and its buttons not responding for some reason.
Many speculate that the issue of the right Dual controller comes from the software itself and not the hardware. While this is quite disappointing, players are already giving some workarounds for this problematic issue.
There are various workarounds that the players suggest, which are booting the game without turning on the device’s Seethrough, resetting the controllers, turning trigger feedback off and on, deleting and resyncing the controllers, disconnecting the Dual-Sense, or keep pressing buttons on the buttons so the controller will eventually wake up.
Some games are unaffected since they do not use the Sense controllers, but those requiring them will show these problems.
PSVR2 is finally available worldwide.
