Double Fine Senior Producer Kevin Johnson recently revealed that the upcoming video game sequel Psychonauts 2 did the same thing as other studios.
Double Fine’s senior producer recently shared the good news on his Twitter account that when the studio developed the video game sequel, they did not have crunch. “Fun fact: Psychonauts 2 has had no crunch. The team has bene amazing and I’m proud to have been part of something so special that’s been made in the schedule we set forth. I think you’ll have fun too.”
Some studios have been sharing this kind of news as well recently since the other studios have done crunch time tend to launch games with so much bugs and issues. Cyberpunk 2077 was a prime example of this and thus got released quite badly.
Hopefully, Psychonauts 2 will have a successful launch on August 25, 2022 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
