Ready Or Not: 23 Megabytes a Second Mission Walkthrough

“23 Megabytes A Second” is the second main mission in Ready or Not. A man named Michael Williams called the Los Sueños Police Department and claimed to have murdered his mother and taken his younger brother hostage. Along with your task force, the goal is to restrain Williams and secure the area for hostages and armed suspects.

The mission will take place in San Uriel condominiums, and unlike “Thank You, Come Again,” the map consists of three floors and an increased number of suspects, which makes it more challenging. Read on, and this guide will walk you through all the objectives in “23 Megabytes A Second” and the best method to take for completing the mission with a high rating.

How to complete “23 Megabytes a Second” in Ready or Not

There are a total of 3 main mission objectives and 3 soft objectives in “23 Megabytes a Second,” which are as follows:

    • Main Mission Objectives
      • Bring Order to Chaos
      • Rescue all of the Civilians
      • Arrest Michael
    • Soft Objectives
      • Reported Illegal Server Farm
      • Reported Suspect’s PC
      • Reported Prohibited Images of Minors

Bring Order to Chaos & Rescue all of the Civilians

Bring Order to Chaos & Rescue all of the Civilians 2 - 23 Megabytes a Second in Ready or Not

Bring order to chaos and rescue all civilians by restraining all the hostiles and hostages in the condominium. This mission usually generates 9 to 11 armed suspects, which are certain to be present on each floor. The safest way to go around and deal with them is through the fire exit, which opens a path for the outer balconies. This also leads you directly to the server room once you reach the second floor, a condo unit of a woman on the third floor, and highly likely fewer hostiles.

Where to Find and Arrest Michael Williams

Where to Find and Arrest Michael - 23 Megabytes a Second in Ready or Not

Go to the third level or highest floor of the condominium and look for a locked door with graffiti all over it. Along with other armed suspects, this is where you can find and arrest Michael Williams, a man wearing a pink headset.

Michael may occasionally station near the door, so be careful when infiltrating inside, as killing him will fail the mission objective. The best and safest method is to go in equipped with non-lethal weapons and deployables that can disrupt the suspects (preferably Flashbang and CS Gas grenades), giving you an opportunity to make them surrender.

Tips: It’s best to switch up your headgear depending on the grenade munition you’re using. If we’re talking basics, then Flashbang goes with Anti-Flash Goggles, and CS Gas goes with Gas Masks.

Where to find and Report Illegal Server Farm

Find the Illegal Server Farm on the second floor of the condominium. Instead of going into the main entrance, go through the emergency exit gate to your right. Once you reach the second-floor balcony, veer to your right and go inside the door. In this area, you can see a cluster of electrical equipment that is utilized for cryptocurrency mining. Either the room at the far right of the small hallway or the front of the kitchen are possible places to report the evidence.

Where to find and Report Suspect’s PC

This evidence refers to Michael William’s PC, and you can find it in the streaming room within his condo unit, past the door where it reads ‘Gaming in Progress’ above it, and in the same place where you arrested Michael.

Where to find and Report Prohibited Images of Minors

Where to find and Report Prohibited Images of Minors - 23 Megabytes a Second in Ready or Not

You can find and report the Prohibited Images of Minors on the bedside table, to the left of where you found Michael’s PC within the streaming room.

How to S Rank “23 Megabytes a Second” in Ready or Not

How to S Rank 23 Megabytes a Second in Ready or Not

You will get an S Rank rating in Ready or Not’s “23 Megabytes a Second” mission if you manage to clear all mission objectives and soft objectives, secure all evidence, and make sure that no one will die during the mission.

Equip non-lethal weapons like the TPL and ‘VKS that use ‘pepperball’ munition or the ‘Beanbag’ shotgun to restrain criminals and hostages without accidentally killing them. Keep in mind that once you finish the main and soft objectives, you’ll be automatically brought to the mission’s clear screen. Getting the mission objectives done was my top priority before I ever thought about locating all the soft objectives. Avoid the extra trouble at all costs, especially when you’re playing solo.
