It was reported that this game was a financial success for the game company. CAPCOM says that the contribution for the remake’s success was due to the large portion of the digital sales, which was a lot.

Last April 2021, CAPCOM shared that this game, RE3 Remake, had sales that reached 2 million units worldwide in just five days since its launch. 50 percent of those sales were all digital version downloads. The original version sold 3.5 million units on the PlayStation.

CAPCOM was proud to announce that the Resident Evil series has garnered sales that total up to 110 million units worldwide as of March 1, 2021. These numbers also include the sales of the latest title, Resident Evil Village. It also gained a lot of sales as well with 5 million units worldwide.

Resident Evil 3 Remake is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
