Ramon Salazar is one of the bosses in Resident Evil 4 Remake. He is a descendant of Salazar, the same person who once decided to seal the Plaga underground to keep it from spreading. But due to the influence of Saddler, Ramon has undone what his ancestor did and unleashed the Plaga into Valdelobos.

After chasing Ramon through the tower and fighting all of his minions, you will get to catch up to him, but he has already sent Ashley away to Saddler’s island base. Now you have to fight Ramon who has now let himself and his remaining Verdugo to fuse with the Plaga and turning into a huge monster.

The only way that you could deal damage to the boss is by hitting Ramon, but he will be encased in his meat shield. In order to make him vulnerable, you will need to shoot his main appendage until it goes down. This staggers the boss and exposes Ramon inside. At this point, if you have the rocket launcher, you can immediately win the fight with a single direct hit on Ramon. If you only have your other weapons, then simply unload all your bullets on to Ramon once you get the chance. It’s best to use your TMP on the main appendage, then use the pistol rounds which deal high damage on Ramon.

As for its attacks, you need to pay attention to the QTEs to dodge its vines as they can deal a ton of damage if they connect.

If you have enough bullets to last the entire boss fight, you can simply stay on the upper level. But if you need more bullets, you can drop down to the level below and destroy the barrels to get more ammo. You will also have to deal with the Plaga spawns in the lower level.

Once the boss is dead, it will fall down from the wall and reveal your next exit.
