Sloclap has recently confirmed the Sifu Xbox and Steam release date and the reveal of the upcoming new Arenas expansion.
Sifu is an awesome beat-em-up martial arts video game that exploded in popularity due to its twist: every time the protagonist dies, they get resurrected, becomes more powerful, but gets older. The older they are, the more powerful they become. Unfortunately, if they reach a certain age, they would not get resurrected any longer due to how old they are already. The game first launched on PS4, PS5, and PC via Epic Games Store and then launched on Nintendo Switch.
Now the game is coming to Xbox consoles and Steam on March 28, 2023. It will also be released together with the new Arenas expansion, which will be a free update for all platforms. A new trailer was also uploaded to celebrate the announcement.
Here’s a description of the new video:
With 9 new locations and 45 merciless challenges spread over 5 game modes, the Arenas Expansion is packing up to 10 extra hours of gameplay into the already demanding title. Masters of Kung Fu will be pushed to their limits as waves of enemies crash upon them in Survival mode, or pushed to perfection in the Performance mode. With Time Attack, players can also battle against the clock on a path filled with enemies. Sifus looking for a twist on the game’s impactful combat can try the new Capture mode – where players must take and hold a marked area – or Manhunt mode, where a specific target surrounded by protectors must be taken down.
Sifu is now available on PC via Epic Games Store, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. Xbox and Steam versions coming on March 28, 2023.
