Bloober Team claims that the upcoming Silent Hill 2 Remake is now close to completion.
Studio CEO Piotr Babieno says that Silent Hill 2 Remake is “technically ready.” He revealed this in a new interview with PAP Business. He does clarify that it does not mean the game is already finished, but they are close to it.
Babieno does have some bad news. It seems like it is not in their hands on how they will schedule the launch of the game, the promotion, and when it will debut. It is all up to the publisher, which is Konami so they will have to wait for the go signal.
The remake will have an over-the-shoulder camera while Bloober will be rebuilding the combat system and a few set pieces.
Silent Hill 2 Remake will be available on PC and PS5. It will be released sometime before 2025.
