Sonic Team Boss Takashi Iizuka has recently revealed that more Sonic the Hedgehog content is coming soon.
Iizuka has recently spoken to the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu to share the Sonic Team’s plans for next year. According to him, they are preparing a second wave to keep the fans happy and to maintain the momentum going into 2023. It was already confirmed that there will be more content for Sonic Frontiers next year, but he revealed that there will be more content aside from that.
The leader might have just revealed that there will be more Sonic content next year and more of it too compared to this year. It could be in the form of new games, movies, TV series, and more.
Iizuka has also revealed that 202 was the biggest year in Sonic history. It included the launch of the movie sequel, the new titles Sonic Origins and Sonic Frontiers, and the Netflix animation Sonic Prime.
Sonic Frontiers is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
