A Wonderful Life Ending Notes and Tips
Only one ending can be experienced per save file, and it is usually predetermined once your child has decided on their career in Chapter 6. If you wish to see other endings, you will have to start from the beginning, or as late as Chapter 2, where you can start influencing your child’s interests.
Best partners to get certain endings
To easily reach the endings, you can aim to marry the character that has the best affinity towards a particular interest.
- Ranching – Cecilia, Matthew
- Farming – Cecilia, Matthew
- Athletics – Molly, Rock
- Music – Lumina, Gustafa
- Art – Nami, Gordy
- Academics* – Cecilia, Nami, Lumina, Matthew, Gordy, Gustafa
*The bachelors/bachelorettes listed in Academics are the ones that have children who have the highest beginning Academics stat among the other children, however this particular stat is not their highest, individually.
Although marrying these partners would give you a boost in leaning towards a specific ending, it is still not a guarantee that you will land on that ending if you happen to do other activities that lean towards other interests. For example, if you want to get the Academics path, your child should see you working with tools and farm equipment most of the time or befriend intellectuals like Daryl, Carter, Flora, and Baddoch.
