Story of Seasons A Wonderful Life Lumina Romance Guide featured

Lumina is a prim and proper pianist whose shyness makes her a bit hard to get to know, but Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life gives you the chance to romance this sweet bachelorette. Although her wealth may at first seem intimidating, as you get to know her, you’ll be surprised that she’s open to courting a meek farmer like yourself.

Read on as we show you how to romance Lumina, how to trigger her Heart Events, and the best gifts to give her.

How to Romance Lumina

The best way to romance Lumina is by giving her gifts she likes, such as wildflowers, and choosing the right options when it comes to her Heart Events. These will raise her Heart Level which is how she falls in love with you. It’s easy to get her the gifts she likes, but knowing how to trigger her special Heart Events is where it gets a bit tricky.

Seeing all 4 of Lumina’s Heart Events isn’t necessary to complete your romance with this bachelorette and marry her. However, they can help give you insight into her character, and choosing the right options during the event helps get you closer to her. At the end of Chapter 1, if your Heart Level is high enough from giving her gifts and frequently talking to her, you can propose to her with the Blue Feather you’ll get from Day 10 of Spring. You need at least 8 Heart Levels for her to accept your marriage proposal.

You have until Day 10 of Winter to raise Lumina’s Heart Level. Afterwards, you’ll be forced to marry someone else. If your Heart Level isn’t at least 8 by then, you can’t marry Lumina. You can check how much Lumina likes you by opening the Resident Info menu or by reading her diary on the top floor of her grandmother’s villa inside her room next to the stuffed toy rabbits.

Lumina Schedule

Pay attention to Lumina’s schedule because this shows you when she’s available to interact with and give gifts to. She’s one of the early risers compared to the other bachelors and bachelorettes, getting out of bed at 7:30 AM.

Lumina will stay in her room until 9:30 AM, when she’ll go to play piano in her grandmother’s villa. At 12 PM sharp, Lumina will go back to her room to rest up for a bit. You can find her walking in the gardens by 1 PM, where she’ll follow the route to The Twins’ yard.

At 4:30 PM, Lumina will be on her way back to her grandmother’s villa. Though she won’t arrive home until 7 PM, when you can see her in Romana’s bedroom. Lumina won’t go back to her bedroom until 8 PM. She’ll be asleep by 10 PM sharp.

Lumina Heart Events

You have until Day 10 of Winter to see all of Lumina’s Heart Events. These optional events can be triggered under the right conditions, which will help you get closer to Lumina.

Here are Nami’s Heart Events and how to trigger them:

Heart Event 1

  • Time: 10 AM to 12 AM
  • Location: The Villa
  • Requirements: 2 Heart Levels, 60 Friendship

You have to enter when Lumina is playing the piano and Romana is present as well. This scene will show Romana wishing that Lumina would be more interpretive when she’s playing the piano. Lumina confesses to you after Romana leaves that she doesn’t quite get the advice to play freely. Tell her to “Have some fun with it,” which will earn her affection.

Heart Event 2

  • Time: 7 AM to 10 PM
  • Location: The Villa, Lumina’s Bedroom
  • Requirements: 4 Heart Levels

To trigger this event, you should’ve seen Lumina’s Heart Event 1 first.

Heart Event 3

  • Time: 3 PM to 11 PM
  • Location: The Villa
  • Requirements: 6 Heart Levels

This event triggers during the Summer season and onwards. You also need to have seen Heart Event 2 for this to be available. Walk into the Villa and the butler, Sebastian, will welcome you. As you make your way to the kitchen, you’ll overhear talking in the other room with Romana and Lumina. Romana is amused that Lumina has reached “that age” and the latter is frustrated that she doesn’t know why her heart is aching.

Sebastian calls to you annoyed that you were eavesdropping on a private conversation and you eat a meal. Whatever your choice when Sebastian asks you about the food, will recover stamina. It’s here that Sebastian will wonder if Lumina has fallen in love which is why she looks more beautiful lately.

Heart Event 4

  • Time: 7 AM to 10 PM
  • Location: The Villa
  • Requirements: 8 Heart Levels

To trigger this Heart Event, you need to also have seen Heart Event 3. You’ll also need to be in Autumn or Winter to see this event which is nearly at the end of Chapter 1. Once you enter the Villa, Lumina will follow you outside and ask if you want to see the beach with her. Accept the offer, then during your conversation with her pick “…and you?” which continues the conversation. Then finally, “Do you think so?” which raises her affection with you.

Lumina Best Gifts

Here are the best gifts you can give to Lumina in order to earn more affection from her:

  • Flowers
  • Strawberry Meals
  • Strawberry
  • Eggs

Lumina is one of the least picky suitors in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life when it comes to gifts next to Cecilia. She’ll accept any wildflower you pick up from the valley and giving her flowers of different kinds is the fastest way to earn her affection. However Lumina will also like other gifts especially Strawberry and Strawberry based meals.

You can give Lumina as many gifts as you want per day, however you can’t give her two of the same gift types in a single one. You’ll have to wait until the next day if you have two Trickblue Flowers to give her, for example. With the right gifts, you can easily sweep Lumina off her feet and secure that marriage.

Lumina Romance guide - Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life

The best part is that thanks to Lumina frequently staying in her grandmother’s villa, she’s relatively easier to find, compared other romance options like Nami who constantly wanders around. You can open your map at any time to find Lumina so you can give her gifts you’ve gathered for the day.
