Team Ninja explains mechanics of Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin including the feature of having various difficulty options.

Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin Difficulty Options Confirmed

Team Ninja Producer Fumihiko Yasuda recently shared some details about the game especially the controversial difficulty options in games (credits to ryokutya2089 via translation of Siliconera). Some players tend to complain about not having alternatives to difficulty levels, which allowed them to enjoy the game at their own pace. Yasuda assured the fans there will be a “wide range of difficulty options” to choose from. He specifically stated this game will be more approachable to those who are not familiar or not that good with action-focused games.

“There may be some people who are apprehensive because this is a full-scale action game,” stated Yasuda. “But we have made sure to provide a wide range of difficulties for those who are inexperienced and to those looking for a challenge. We wanted to make this a game that those who have never experienced a Final Fantasy title can still enjoy.”

Differences Between Offline and Online Loot Drop Chance

Aside from the difficulty levels, Yasuda talked about the multiplayer side of the game. Whether offline or online, players can still obtain the same valuable items in the game. The only advantage of being only and in multiplayer is having a higher chance of dropping those items. Regardless, they still get the chance to get the items, only that offline players will have to work harder.

Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin launches on March 18, 2022. It will be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Epic Games Store. Speaking of PC, the official PC system requirements have been revealed recently.
