Game publisher Team17 has partnered up with developer Astral Pixel to announce a new video game with a unique method of platforming titled Super Magbot.

Super Magbot has unique way for travelling

The game is a platformer filled with puzzles and obstacles impeding the protagonist of the game. The only issue the players faces here is the ability to jump is gone. The only way to go through the levels is with the power of magnetism with color coding blue and red.

Super Magbot is the name of the hero and he must harness the power of magnetic forces to navigate deadly platforming environments. It is the only way to save his home planet of Mag Tek.

Astral Pixel lead programmer Daniel Guzman Ceron stated:

Super Magbot is the result of working hand in hand with my brother over the past two years. It has been a truly self-learning experience in every way, and we couldn’t be happier to have Team17 on board as our publisher, their legacy of working with indie games makes them a great fit for our game. We have worked hard to create a refreshing take on platforming gameplay and we can’t wait to see players enjoying Super Magbot’s challenges.

Team17 head of publishing Max Everingham said:
