Square Enix has finally confirmed the Tactics Ogre Reborn release date, new improvements, and pre-orders. This also confirms an earlier leak reported here.

Tactics Ogre Reborn is a reimagined edition of the beloved tactical RPG. Tactics Ogre Reborn release date is on November 11, 2022. It will be available on the PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. It is now available for pre-order on all platforms.
New Edition Highlights
The reimagined edition will offer beautifully converted high-definition graphics, updated battle systems, and vast sound improvements including fully-voiced cutscenes for English and Japanese versions. The sound effects have been recreated and the live background music got re-recorded, which was composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto.
The Tale of Tactics Ogre
Tactics Ogre Reborn is set in The Valerian Isles, jewels of the Obero Sea. After many years of conflict, the Dynast-King Dorgalua Oberyth rose from the ashes to end all of the madness. He brought peace and prosperity to Valeria for half a century. Unfortunately, peace did not last as the Dynast-King died, and a civil war was born. Three factions are now vying for power and another story of a man appears, the story of a young man named Denam Pavel. He must choose the best decisions to take as it shapes the story that the players create in this game.

The game is a classical tactical role-playing adventure that enables players to fully immerse themselves in the world and intrigue of Tactics Ogre. Take control of a team of units on the battlefield and utilize the turn-based combat system to act strategically and gain the upper hand over the enemy. Recruit additional party members, experiment with various classes, weapons, magic and abilities, and make key decisions at several instances in the story.
