A new report has now revealed the Team Fortress 2 assets have been leaked online.
The popular team-based multiplayer shooter developed by Valve has now experienced another hack and this time around, the full asset repository has been shared online. Sources claim this is now the biggest leak of the game.
Team Fortress 2 has a history of many breaches in the past. These included small leaks of assets and even the source code got leaked way back in 2020. Unfortunately, it got hit with another one; this time, it is the whole package of assets.
This new information comes from Twitter user Richter Overtime. They confirm that the ENTIRE Team Fortress 2 asset repository has been leaked. They say a lot of never-before-seen maps, models, PSDs, VMFs, and more are now available to be accessed by the public.
The post also revealed the size of the big leak, which is 61GB. This is also the last official Team Fortress 2 content drop the fans will be able to see as nothing more will be released by Valve. This is now everything.
The leak might not be a good thing to do, but the results might actually help the community. They might be able to ask Valve now to make the release of all content official and made available to the public for use. The game is mostly supported by the fans anyway and this new content will make them happy at least.
Team Fortress 2 is now available on PC.
