The Terminal Overload is an event that was added to Destiny 2: Lightfall, and like the other events in the game, this one offers a series of challenges and rewards that players will want to try out. What is the Terminal Overload in Destiny 2: Lightfall?
The Terminal Overload is an exclusive event found in Destiny 2: Lightfall. To access this event, players must travel to the 3 main areas of Neomuna, from Ahimsa Park to Zephyr Concourse to Liming Harbor, daily. It will involve a series of challenging sequences that benefit greatly from having a lot of Guardians helping out.
How to Start the Terminal Overlord Event
To start this event, players will first need to complete the Lightfall campaign of the game, and a notification will appear on their screen showing the location of where to start the event. Once they reach the exact location, players will need to find a Cabal Psion beneath a pyramid and defeat waves of Black Legion and Vex.
Participants will have to work on more than one goal at a time until each of the four skulls is full. They have five minutes to complete all four objectives to get the best loot possible. The objectives usually start with standing on a Vex plate, then holding out a counteroffensive and taking down three artillery spotters, and finally taking down Minotaurs for their Arc Craniums.
The third and final stage sees players not only confront the Psion again but defeat it as well. This battle will be like a boss battle, and the Psion will have 3 damage phases. Defeat the enemy and survive the battle, and the quest will be complete.
Terminal Overload Keys
After completing the event, players will be given a chest that rewards them for their efforts. But in order to open these chests, players will need keys that allow them to unlock the rewards. To get more keys, players will need to first complete a certain quest given by Quinn in the Hall of Heroes called the Stargazer quest.
During this quest and after completing it, keys will be appearing throughout the map from these conditions:
- Chests
- Nimbus bounties
- Patrols
- Public events
