In-person tickets are now being sold for the big return of The Game Awards to the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles later this year.
According to the new announcement, The Game Awards will be returning to the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 8, 2022. Tickets are now available to purchase on AXS.com.
This year’s The Game Awards 2022 will be the ninth annual global celebration of the video game industry. The event will be on livestream for free and will be available on more than 40 different digital video platforms, which include YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, Facebook, and more. For the first time, it will be available to watch on Instagram, live. Last year, it was revealed that 85 million global livestreams of the show was delivered, which made it one of the largest livestreamed events in the Internet’s history.
Expect the usual world premieres, new game announcements, and musical performances. The latter will include the return of The Game Awards Orchestra which will be conducted by Lorne Balfe.
