CD Projekt RED, amidst the Cyberpunk 2077 debacle, shared a roadmap of what the Polish studio is currently working at the moment. It’s apparent that CDPR is going to give The Witcher 3 a next-gen touch that will improve the overall performance, taking advantage of the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S’s horsepower. However, there is no set date as to when this next-gen update will drop for The Witcher 3.

Aside from the performance boost, hopefully, 4K 60FPS, we’re excited to see what CDPR has in store for the DualSense controller if ever they’re considering enhancing the overall experience.

The Witcher 3 is already available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
