Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 Update Adds Crash Bandicoot Items and More

Game publisher Activision and developer Vicarious Visions announced that there will be a new update soon for video game Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2.

The newest major free update will be coming November 6 at 8 am PST on all platforms. It will add new Challenges, Tours, and Create-a-Skater items. It will also tune up the Multiplayer playlists, XP, and Cash across the board.

The update will allow players to replay the Tours mode, which are the THPS 1 and THPS 2 Tours, with individual skaters. Each of the Solo Tour at the start all of the Goals and Medals will be reset. This allows players to re-complete them while collecting Stat Points to max out the skater. Complete every skater’s Solo Tour to gain that G.O.A.T. achievement.

The previous Tours progress will not be gone, the current Tours mode will be moved to Crew Tours. If they complete the Tours, then they can find that 100 percent status here. If not, then consider Crew Tours as a way to play through the O.G. THPS1 and THPS 2 Career modes with different skaters.

To celebrate the release of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, THPS 1 and 2 will be adding a few Create-a-Skater items with the theme of the crazy marsupial, his sister Coco, and the Quantum masks. This is the first-ever crossover between Crash and Tony.

The new pack includes a new board, shirts, and hats that all have the print of Crash Bandicoot and his friends.

Activision offers 10 decks for the Create-a-Skater with The Birdman Pack, which was created in collaboration with The Skatepark Project to support their mission of creating public skateparks in underserved communities.

This features five decks that are new to the franchise. It is a mix of Birdhouse and Powell-Peralta decks together with one created specifically for The Skaterpark Project. The net proceeds will be going to the fund of the non-profit’s mission. Also, this pack is only available for a limited time.

Three fans have won the right to get their decks in the game and now available for use in Create-a-Skater.

Aside from the new content, the developer has added over 100 new Challenges across 10 new Challenge sets. There will be new objectives around the new Solo Tour mode, Multiplayer, Classic Park Challenges that feature new high scores, Create-a-Park Combo Challenges, and Combo Practice Challenges.

These Challenges offer plenty of XP and Cash, which was tuned on an overall level that should help players reach Level 100 in no time.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
