2. Final Fantasy 9 – I cried when Vivi died. There. I spoiled you. Final Fantasy IX has a lot of heart. And also, the best protagonist ever. Never has had a game tug at my heart more than FFIX. From the character design, to the dialogue, to the character development, this game made me feel for all the characters. Hook, line and sinker. The game’s mechanics was a delightful mix of all the previous Final Fantasies – not too tedious, not too punishing. Although, there’s Ozma. As Hironobu Sakaguchi’s favorite Final Fantasy, it is clear that this game has a lot of love. This was made with a lot of love, and a whole lot of love to give.
