Haha! You were expecting a Final Fantasy article but it was Assassin’s Creed instead! Ok lame attempt at jokes aside. I know that there’s already an abundant amount of worst or best AC games articles, but what the heck, let’s add one more anyway.

Here is my list of top 5 least favorite Assassin’s Creed games.

    5. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag – Hold on, let me explain. Black Flag, personally for me, brought back AC when AC3 derailed the whole franchise but hear me out. I love Black Flag. It had a huge world that was really fun to explore and had amazing content within it, especially the ship battles, but I have to rate it as an AC game and as an AC game, Black Flag felt more of a pirate simulator made by Ubisoft.

The story was fine at best,  while it did open up lots of questions, it’s main struggle didn’t exactly feel crucial and Edward’s character developmemt, as good as it is, consumed most of the story that the confrontation between the main antagonist and Edward felt rushed. While the story did give us memorable characters like Mary Read and Blackbeard, overall Edward’s story felt more like a filler, which, with the timely release of Assassin’s Creed Unity afterwards, felt like that was definitely the case.
