Sony Pictures Entertainment, PlayStation Productions, and Naughty Dog have recently released the very first official trailer for the upcoming Uncharted Movie.
Just like the previous articles revealing details about the upcoming movie adaptation, the Uncharted Movie will be bringing the great adventures of Nathan Drake, Sully, Chloe Frazer, and other characters of the Uncharted franchise to the big screen.
The game franchise has already become beloved by many gamers all around the world and now that it has become a film, more people will be able to appreciate it. And maybe they would even try the games now that they will be seeing these characters in the upcoming movie for the first time. Fans will be able to recognize some of the humor, landmarks, music, relics, action sequences, and more.
The Uncharted movie will be starred by several high-profile actors and actresses like Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg, Antonio Banderas, and more. This movie is made possible due to the collaboration of Sony Pictures Entertainment, PlayStation Productions, and Naughty Dog.
The trailer itself shows a lot and from what we have seen, it seems to be a mix of Uncharted 3 and 4. It tells the story of Nathan Drake and Sully in their younger years where they first met. There are some action sequences here that are familiar especially the one on the plane. It seems to be similar to Uncharted 3.
Film Director Ruben Fleischer shared that he “made the movie for both hardcore fans of the game and those who are not yet familiar with the franchise and believe that both will be equally entertained by this incredibly fun and action-packed film.”
The Uncharted Movie will be available exclusively in theaters on February 18, 2022.
