Popular game publisher SEGA has recently revealed the release date for Valkyria Chronicles 4 for the western shores. They also updated the English version of the official website.
Valkyria Chronicles 4 Coming to North America and Europe
The fourth iteration of the Valkyria Chronicles series will launch in North America and Europe in fall 2018. It will be available for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Fans and interested players can pre-order the game right now on the website for only $59.99.
Official website updated with new content
Aside from the great news that SEGA delivered, they also updated the English version of the official website. The new contents provided valuable information for the fans like an introduction to the game’s world and several characters.
World introduction
The introduction gave some basic information about Europa: the largest landmass west of the Northern Hemisphere. Two superpowers rose to power by 1800s, which were the Empire and the Federation. They depended on the precious mineral called Ragnite, but it became scarce in 1935 EC. This led to the Second Europan War.
Character info English translations added
SEGA provided English translations of character information like Claude Wallace, Riley Miller, Raz, and the Winter Witch: Crymaria Levin. It revealed basic information like their classes, the armies they served in, a brief summary of their background, and more.
BLiTZ system, class information revealed
The official website of Valkyria Chronicles 4 gave detailed information about the newly revised BLiTZ system. The translated content revealed information about several features like Book Mode, Briefing, Command Points, Action Mode, and more. The classes were also introduced, yet there is no sighting of the Fencer class.
