In the quest “The Clues to the Sky” in Tears of the Kingdom, you’re asked to find where King Dorephan is hiding. Although you are given some clues, King Dorephan can be difficult to find. This is because the marker shown at the start of the quest doesn’t exactly pinpoint the king’s exact location, which explains the frustration of most players. Learn where to find King Dorephan as such by using this guide to complete The Clues To The Sky quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Where to find King Dorephan in Tears of the Kingdom?
You can find King Dorephan in Tears of the Kingdom behind the waterfall near Lulu Lake, between Ploymus Mountain and Zora’s Domain. Fast travel to the Ihen-a Shrine and drop down the waterfall closest to you until you reach the bottom. There is a hole at the end of where the water flows, which leads you straight to King Dorephan.
If you listen closely to the two kids talking in the throne room of Zona’s Domain, they’ll talk about the cave hidden behind the waterfall in the location we mentioned above. It’s a bit hard to find because the opening to the cave is small and you have to drop down from above.
We marked the exact location of where you can find King Dorephan’s cave in the image below.
Just jump down from the top and land on the spot above. You’ll see a hole that leads directly to his throne room. Speak with Muzu, who’s right beside him, to continue The Clues To The Sky quest.
Once you speak with him, King Dorephan will tell you what he knows about Princess Zelda. You’ll have to go there to find out more.
That’s where you’ll find King Dorephan in Tears of the Kingdom. He’s in a pretty good hiding spot, but thanks to this guide, you should know exactly where he is now. Learn more about Tears of the Kingdom from our other articles.
