Wild Hearts Giant Kemono Petal Guide

Here's what you need to know about the Giant Kemono Petal

In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about the Giant Kemono Petal in Wild Hearts. The petal itself is a primary monster resource found on the Venomglider. A poisonous cousin of the Spineglider.

According to its description, “The Giganbashiri, or Venomglider, is a venomous cousin of the Spineglider whose body is festooned with what appears to be spider lilies. Like the Spineglider, it has the ability to create rock from liquid secretions, but it also possesses the ability to poison its prey. This dichotomy of primal behaviors makes the beast a rare example among kemono.”

Wild Hearts Giant Kemono Petal Location

The Giant Kemono Petal is not a beginner-level monster drop. To find the Petal, you’ll have to hunt and defeat the Venomglider along the Blossom Trail. The area is accessible starting in Chapter 3. It should be noted that the markers on the Overworld map are in rough proximity to the creature’s location. To pinpoint its actual location, you’ll have to build a Hunting Tower to ping its exact location on the map. You will also be able to see its outline for as long as it’s within sensor range.

What works for a Spineglider will work with a Venomglider

How to Get Giant Kemono Petal in Wild Hearts

The only way to get Giant Kemono Petal is to take down a Venomglider. As a cousin of the Spineglider, they are capable of creating impromptu structures from the liquid they shoot out of their bodies. The difference here is that, unlike the Spineglider, the Venomglider leaves behind pools of poison that will prove life-threatening to the Hunter if not addressed ASAP. The Pounder Karakuri is your best chance to get some free damage and a instant chance to stun.

To counter it, you’ll need pieces of armor that are specifically made to lessen the effects of poison. Poison chips away from your health. So between that and the monster, it is like fighting two foes at once.

The Giant Kemono Petal will appear among your Hunting Rewards at the end of the hunt. More importantly, you don’t have to break any pieces in order to get it. Just defeat the monster, and you’ll probably get a good amount of them.

And that’s all you need to know about the Giant Kemono Petal. Happy hunting out there.
