Witch of the Holy Night is one of the classic games to be re-released by Type-Moon this year. Recently, Type-Moon has uploaded a new trailer for the game as it gets a new release date for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch with special offers for fans to get if they pre-order them either on physical or digital versions.

Witch of the Holy Night (better known as Mahōtsukai no Yoru) first came out on the PC on April 12, 2012. The game has received some high praises from different Japanese gaming reviews and has lived up to the expectations as one of the best light novel games of Type-Moon. With newly updated graphics and new visuals on the way, the game will be re-released for the Playstation 4 and the Nintendo Switch on December 8, 2022, in Japan at the cost of 6,600 yen. The game will support English, Japanese, (Simplified and Traditional) Chinese language options.

A first-print limited edition will also be available for 7,700 yen, which includes a special box with artwork by Hirokazu Koyama and the “Fundamental Rhythms of A Witch” art book. PlayStation 4 users will also be able to purchase a Digital Deluxe Edition for 7,150 yen, which includes a digital version of the artbook.
