World of Warcraft Dragonriding Feature Explained

New details of the World of Warcraft Dragonriding feature has been released and explained by Blizzard.

    World of Warcraft Dragonriding Explained

Dragonriding is a new form of aerial movement for players to use in the upcoming World of Warcraft Dragonflight expansion. Players using different races and classes can ride these Drakes to explore new lands especially the upcoming new Dragon Isles since they will need them in crossing the seas.

    Four Drakes to Obtain

There are four Dragon Isle Drakes to get in the upcoming World of Warcraft Dragonflight expansion. They are all unique and fully customizable for each rider. According to Blizzard, there are millions of possible combinations to choose from in customizing a Drake. There is a rather dark brown drake with multiple horns, a lighter brown drake with two horns only, a green drake with multiple horns and a chin that resembles a beard, and a red drake with small two horns.

    Dragonriding Gameplay

Players can fly and glide through the skies with their unique Drakes, but they can be brought down by enemies if they are quite inexperienced in Dragonriding. Grow in skill to learn and master new maneuvers that can be used in travel and battles. Dragonriding skill can be maxed in level by hunting down ancient glyphs and advancing the new Dragonriding skill tree.

As a reward for mastering and reaching the max level, players can check out new challenges all over Dragon Isles. They can then get the real prize: more customization options for their Drakes.

World of Warcraft Dragonflight still has no release date yet.
