Take-Two has recently confirmed the newest entry to the WWE 2K franchise, WWE 2K23.
With the success of WWE 2K22, it seems Take-Two was convinced that a new entry to the franchise was going to happen. In a recent financial report by the publisher, WWE 2K23 has been greenlit and is probably in the works now. It is expected that it will be released at some point during the 2023 fiscal year.
In the list from the report, it seems Take-Two has not listed any platforms for the upcoming title. While not confirmed, it is possible that 2K Sports is still deciding on which platforms the upcoming game would perform better. Next-gen consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X/S are slowly getting more units manufactured, so it is possible the publisher is thinking they will be putting this game on those consoles only for better hardware. Still, stocks are not that abundant to the point that there are extra units on display at retail stores so it could be possible they will put this on the PS4 and Xbox One.
The public reveal of WWE 2K23 could be announced later this year. So far, the only confirmation seen was only on this financial report by Take-Two.
