As Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is just a few weeks away from its official release date, now is the best time to learn more about pre-order options.
The release date was pushed up from September 2022 to July 29, 2022, an unexpected move by Nintendo, and f ans will want to get their hands on this new open-world RPG as soon as possible. As such, here’s what you need to know about pre-orders for Xenoblade Chronicles 3, along with the Bonuses included in each edition.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Pre Order Bonuses
Despite the lack of preorder bonuses in the US, The Nintendo Store UK offers a free A4 notebook for Standard Edition Pre-orders. Additionally, those who pre-order the game via GAME will also receive a Post Card set shown below.
As such, it’s best to wait until there’s more information before pre-ordering. We’ll keep this page updated as soon as we find any additional pre-order bonuses or editions.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Standard Edition
Price: $59.99
Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s Digital Standard Edition is still available for pre-order on the My Nintendo Store. Both versions are available for purchase through third-party retailers as well. As soon as it’s launched on July 29, 2022, you’ll be able to download and play it if you pre-ordered.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition
Price: $89.99
Players in the US, Canada, and Mexico can preorder the Special Edition of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 from the My Nintendo Store. Pre-ordering or purchasing the product from third-party resellers is not available. On top of that, the game’s physical edition will be available on or around July 29, 2022. As for the remainder of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition, it will be available in the autumn of 2022.
The Special Edition also includes the base game, package artwork from Masatsugu Saito, a Full-Color 250 Page Hardcover Artbook, and a steel case.

Is the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition Worth it?
Yes, Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s Special Edition is totally worth it. In this case, you are paying an additional $30 for all the extras, which is comparable to other Special Editions for other major Nintendo titles, since the main game costs around $60. In terms of value, the art book and accompanying package artwork stand out above the rest and is sure to be considered “worth it”.
If you’re a fan of the Xenoblade Chronicle series and want to support the creators, the Special Edition may be worth the extra money.
