The Josiu Shrine is among the various shrines that can be found on the Hyrule Sky in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Unlike most shrines, this one lets Link solve a challenge out on the open floating islands in West Necluda, and all you have to do is recover a crystal.
Read ahead as we go through the steps in order to solve the challenge of the Josiu Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Josiu Shrine Location
The Josiu Shrine can be found in West Necluda, Hyrule Sky with coordinates 1759, -1208, 0924. It can be accessible by taking the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower then gliding eastwards towards the sky archipelago.
How to solve the Josiu Shrine
To solve the Josiu Shrine, interact with the shrine first. This shrine is missing the huge rock in the middle, but it will shoot out a beam towards the crystal on another island.
Near the bridge to the crystal is a contraption that can control the curved bridge ahead. Use Ultrahand so that the bridge connects the island where the crystal is and the island to your left (facing the bridge), similar to having the hands of the clock at 9 and 12.
Then, move towards the shrine again and jump over to the other island, the one with four arms attached to a circle. You will see a launcher in the middle of the island and a capstan that can rotate the launcher. For now, rotate it so that the launcher faces towards the island to the southeast, the same island that you connected the bridge to from earlier. Ride the launcher then land on the next island.
You can then continue on to the small island and grab the crystal. Protip: place the crystal near the edge of the bridge as it can help you bring the crystal closer to the shrine. Just be careful when you rotate the bridge later to prevent the crystal from falling.
Next, all you need to do is to make your way back to the first island and rotate the bridge to reach the crystal. Bring the crystal back to the shrine and it will grow to become the shrine itself.
Go inside and check the chest to get a Large Zonai Charge, then go to the statues to get your Light of Blessing.
You can head back to the island with the launcher and use the launcher to explore the neighboring islands. The small island northeast as lots of Luminous Stone deposits and a chest containing a Sage’s Will.
The island on the north end has two layers where a chest is dangling by the hole in the middle. To get this chest, create a decent bridge first where the chest can land on before cutting the vine using a ranged weapon. This chest contains an Old Map showing a marked spot in the Depths.
Having Tulin unlocked as your companion will allow you to bypass the launcher as you will only need to work on the rotating bridge to get the crystal to its destination.
