ZeniMax Online Studios is seemingly working on a AAA title with the help of a former Naughty Dog employee, Quentin Cobb. He worked on projects such as Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and The Last of Us.
Quentin recently posted on Twitter that he’s working at ZeniMax Online Studios as a Senior Designer:
Microsoft recently acquired ZeniMax, the parent company of Bethesda, months agin with the intention of strengthening its Xbox Game Studios. Phil Spencer stated that Bethesda’s games have always had a special place in Team Xbox. Having Bethesda as part of their core studios will bring back the old days when Microsoft and Bethesda had a strong business relationship in the original Xbox era.
ZeniMax Online Studios’ game will surely focus on massive multiplayer online like its Fallout 76 and The Elder’s Scrolls Online. It might be an MMO game based in the world of Fallout again, or potentially a new IP. We’ll definitely know soon enough.
