Game publisher Ubisoft recently announced the first DLC for Far Cry 5: Hours of Darkness. They also released a teaser trailer for the new content.

Far Cry 5 Hours of Darkness content introduction

The Hours of Darkness DLC places players in a war-torn Vietnam as players relive the terrifying experience of Wendell Redler from the main campaign of the game. They can either go solo or play online with other players. They must rescue imprisoned squad maters, fight against the dreaded Viet Cong and North Vietnamese Army, and find any means to get home.

    Hours of Darkness content details

The new DLC will include new gear and abilities for players to discover. There are two different playable modes to unlock after trying and completing it. Survivor Mode allows players to have a limited loadout and the Action Movie Mode where they get a lot of items that give them over-the-top action.

Players get Vietnam-themed assets for the Far Cry Arcade with a title update on May 24. They can get new levels with the map builder.

    Price tag and release date

Hours of Darkness DLC will have a price tag of $11.99. Players can get it on June 5 for the PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. They can also get it with the $29.99 season pass along with the future DLCs.
