Game developer Skydance Interactive recently revealed that a launch trailer for Archangel: Hellfire featuring PvP mode and more.

    Archangel: Hellfire launch trailer revealed

The launch trailer revealed that the PvP portion of this new expansion is already available for free. The free version of the game is called the Enlist Free section. It is now available on all of the online stores that the base game is offered right now. The Team Deathmatch mode allows players to choose from six mechs before going into battle representing either the USFF or the HUMNX.

    Full version allows PvE mode

Players who will get the full version of the game will be able to try out the cooperative PvE mode and also the single player campaign. To celebrate, the game developers partnered with Opera Event to host a new competitive PvP tournament called the Mech Ascent Championship. The highest ranking players on the game’s leaderboards can create teams in order to fight for a $2,000 grand prize or $500 weekly prizes.

Skydance Interactive president Peter Akermann said that the dream of VR is to allow people to be wholly absorbed in amazing new virtual experiences, and nothing is quite as exciting as piloting a massive six-story high mech and waging war with your friends. Through the team’s hard work and talent, they have fully realized that awesome experience.

Not only can gamers experience the compelling story campaign of Archangel, but they can put their piloting skills on the line in epic online competitive PvP and cooperative matches with pilots from all over the world.

The game is now available on HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Players can get it on Humble Bundle.
