Microsoft is now just one step closer to completing the Bethesda deal after this.
The official website of the European Commission revealed that Microsoft’s 7.5 billion deal with company Zenimax, the parent company of Bethesda, has gotten its approval. The decision was made on March 5, which matches the initial deadline set by them.
Last month, Microsoft went to the EC to ask for approval to acquire Zenimax and everything under it for billions of dollars. They wanted to clear any anti-trust concerns before pushing through.
With this approval, Microsoft is now closer to their goal of fully acquiring Bethesda’s parent company. Also, the deal will include other studios as well like Arkane Studios, MachineGames, and more.
