Bandai Namco Entertainment has revealed the upcoming new paid downloadable content for Ace Combat’s 25th anniversary — 25th Anniversary DLC – Experimental Aircraft Series — for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown that will be released later this year.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has released original aircraft that have been popular in previous installments of the series through paid DLCs, however, this will be the first time the game will feature an “actual” aircraft.
In the teaser trailer, we get to see the three types of real experimental aircraft that will be added:
- F-15 S/MTD (The Boeing Company)
- F-16XL (Lockheed Martin Corporation)
- FB-22 Strike Raptor (Lockheed Martin Corporation)
In addition to the three aircraft, some skins and emblems of enemy pilots and rival units from past games in the series will also be added.
The release date of the DLC is yet to be announced by the publisher.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is already available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
