Apex Legends Game Director Chad Grenier recently clarified and confirmed a particular rumor that has been circulating in the gaming community for a while.
One of our resident Sirus Gaming writers recently asked to confirm a particular rumor about Titans officially coming over to game on some capacity during the Apex Legends Legacy preview event. This would definitely change the gameplay mechanics since Titans are particularly large robots and that could cause a lot of chaos in the battlefield.
Grenier finally has made these rumors lay to rest as he confirms that the Titans are NEVER going to make an appearance in the game. The only two Titanfall-related characters will be Valk and Ash so do not expect any other mechanics to be incorporated to the battle royale soon or in the future.
It would have been fun, but that would only make it all chaotic to implement. Also, it would be unfair for everyone who are not using Titans.
