Game company Sony Interactive Entertainment has recently released the newest firmware update for the PlayStation 5 console.

The newest version of the firmware update, version 21.01-03.21.00 is now available for download. It has only a slight change to the recent update, version 21.01-03.20.00.

This version has the common update description again on the support page, which is a famous one-liner since the PS4 days. “This system software update improves system performance,” it reads. No other details were shared, which meant this could just have small changes to the system and nothing else.

The PlayStation 5 new update has the file size of 902 MB. It should automatically download and install when players boot up the system.
