WB Games and Turtle Rock Studios’ upcoming first-person zombie shooter is going to officially kickstart the Back 4 Blood early access beta in a few hours. We are lucky enough to share 300 PS4/PS5 early access codes with everyone who wants to join in the zombie-killing mayhem!

Back 4 Blood is officially launching later this year in October on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC — pre-orders are already being accepted! While fans were anticipating the next Left 4 Dead, Back 4 Blood still fits that criteria even if it’s not a direct sequel.
Soft Source Games is also the sole distributor of Back 4 Blood on consoles.
The early access beta will start today, August 5, until August 9, with the open beta to start next week from August 12 to August 16 across all platforms.
Here are a few important things to note about the beta before you dive into the world of zombies:
- Two maps for the “Swarm” PvP mode
- Two co-op maps to fight off Ridden with your friends
- Play as Mom for the first time, as well as other Cleaners: Evangelo, Holly, Walker and Hoffman
- Play as six different Ridden variants in “Swarm,” including the Bruiser, Retch, Hocker, Exploder, Crusher and Stinger
- Various weapons to check out, cards to build decks and Ridden to slay
- Explore the Fort Hope communal hub
- Cross-play and cross-gen support
