Game developer Survios has recently announced that they are developing a new game based on the Alien franchise.
Survious has now teamed up with 20th Century Fox to create a game based on the popular sci-fi horror franchise Alien. It will be a single-player action-horror game that will be for VR, consoles, and PC.
The details about this upcoming game are not that much right now as Survios is only giving a few hints. It will have an original storyline and it will be set somewhere in between the events of the original Alien and Aliens films. Players will be taking on the role of a battle hardened veteran with a vendetta against the Xenomorphs.
The developers are focused more on VR game development, so it makes sense that this new Alien game will have a VR platform. The studio has worked on titles like Creed Rise to Glory, The Walking Dead Onslaught, and Puzzle Bobble 3D Vacation Odyssey.
It will be developed with the Unreal Engine 5. More details will be shared on July 21, 2022 during the San Diego Comic-Con event.
