Fans of the upcoming video game Starfield should not be overhyped for seeing more gameplay at Gamescom as it seems something got changed overnight.
Bethesda recently posted on its website saying that Redfall and Starfield gameplay will be shown at a Community Get Together at Gamescom 2022. Everyone was so excited that they might get to see the new gameplay of this upcoming title that Bethesda is developing right now since it will release sometime next year. The event will be held next Friday, August 26, 2022.
“Come see Redfall and Starfield gameplay and get your hands on Fallout 76 while you’re there,” the blog teased. “Of course, we also have a few surprises and goodies in store for you.”
Unfortunately, it seems the one posting the new announcement changed the contents, and now everyone is bummed out about it. The first sentence above has a new word added to it. It now reads “Come see a replay of the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase gameplay presentations for Redfall and Starfield and get your hands on Fallout 76 while you’re there. Of course, we also have a few surprises and goodies in store for you.”
It seems there will no longer be any new gameplay footage that will be shown on that day. It will be replays of previous gameplay videos.
Starfield launches next year for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
