Konami to Reveal New Game from Beloved Series at Tokyo Game Show 2022

A new report revealed that game company Konami will be showing up at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2022 event with its lineup and a very special reveal.

The official website of Konami has recently announced its big lineup of games that will be showcased during the Tokyo Game Show 2022. It will start on Thursday, September 15 and will end on Sunday, September 18, 2022.

The lineup will include Yu-Gi-Oh games, eFootball 2023, Super Bomberman R2, and two games based on girl idol groups. The company did say that there will be a big reveal on TGS 2022 and it will be a new game. It will be from a beloved series that many fans worldwide love, but to keep up with the suspense, they did not drop a hint.

Now, if it is going to be one of Konami’s beloved series, then there are a few and quite a large lineup already from them. These are Silent Hill, Castlevania, and Metal Gear. Based on that, we speculate that it could not be Metal Gear because Metal Gear Survive flopped and if Hideo Kojima is not at the helm, anything related will not get a warm welcome from fans. Silent Hill and Castlevania are more likely to happen as Konami has a better grasp on these two.

There have been rumors that a new Silent Hill is in the works with Bloober Team developing it. Castlevania could also work as there has been no news about a new game from the series for a long while.

The showcase will happen on September 16, 2022 with voice actor Yuki Kaji as a guest.
