Treasure Chests are scattered all across the City level in LEGO Bricktales. Unlike the usual treasure chests that often carry lots of gold and valuable stuff, these treasure chests contain things that aren’t usually what one would expect, but they are still considered as valuable currencies in their respective worlds.
In this guide, we will talk about all the chest locations in the City level of LEGO Bricktales and share tips on how to get to them.
City Chest Locations
There are a total of 13 chests to be found within the City level. Not all of them can be found within the first run as you will need to acquire additional abilities to reach them.

- 50 Donuts – found by giving the Ornithologist 20 Birds.
- 50 Donuts – found in the Skill Temple.
- 10 Donuts – found on top of the Power Plant, head to the corner of the tower and use Dimension to reveal a wheel that opens a gate on the side of the plant. Head into the passageway and you will reach the chest.
- 10 Donuts – same route as the previous chest, use Electricity to reach the upper part of the plant where the next chest is.
- 10 Donuts – found in the other part of the sewer, near the ledge where the whip can be used, continue heading to the left and use Smash to break the crates. Then, use Dimension in the niche to reveal the chest.
- 10 Donuts – found in the construction site, head to the alley to the right of the construction site, then enter the door to the building on the left. Then, use Dimension on the other side to reveal the chest.
- 10 Donuts – found in starting area/main city center, enter the building where the fire exit build is attached to. Then use Dimension to reveal a teleport pad, and then use Electricity to reach the chest on the other building.
- 10 Donuts – found in the construction site, after fixing the crane, use Dimension on top of the building where the platform lands to reveal a wheel. Use the wheel to open a gate below it.
- 10 Donuts – requires the Hover skill; found in Rita’s Lab, head towards the higher level to the left and use Electricity to teleport down. Use the wheel to open a gate behind the huge machine. Enter the passageway and then use Hover to go around the map and reach the chest.
- 10 Donuts – found in the sewers, head to the passageway beside Boo’s Shop and use Dimension to reveal a teleport pad. Use Electricity on it and then use Water to clear the dirt off the next pad. Head back out to the passageway and head to the rightmost corner and use the pad to reach the chest.
- 50 Donuts – requires the Hover skill; found in the sewers, head to the east side of the map, then go to the area where hover rail is. Use Hover to go up a level, the use Water to clean the lever. Pull the lever to lower the chest. Then, head to the passage beside Boo’s Shop, then head to the right. Use the whip to go up, and then use Hover again to reach the chest.
- 10 Donuts – requires the Hover skill; found in the second part of the sewers, go to the east corner of the map and use Electricity on the pad. Then, use Hover to ride on the rails, and then turn the wheel to open the gate. Retrace your steps to get to the chest.
- 10 Donuts – requires the Hover skill; found in the other part of the sewer, near the ledge where the whip can be used, continue heading to the left and use Smash to break the crates. Head to the edge of the path and use Dimension to reveal the rail. Use Hover to reach the chest.
