Best Spot to Find Shiny Larvesta Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

There’s a great location where a Shiny Larvesta can be be caught in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. YouTuber すくると (@sukurutogames) has searched through Paldea and shared one of the best places of where to hunt a shiny Larvesta. Larvesta is a Bug/Fire Pokémon that can be caught in in the game whose evolution, Volcarona, has obtained both past and future Paradox versions.

In this guide, we will go through the steps on how to find easy shiny Larvestas in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

    Shiny Larvesta Location

The best place to find a shiny Larvesta is on the top of the huge boulder located in the Asado Desert. It is the one on the east side of the north ruins in the desert.

This boulder has two levels, and you need to position yourself at the top level while looking towards the northwest direction. You can set up your picnic right at the very edge of the level where you’ll have a good view of the spawning Larvestas.

From here on, all you need to do is to force spawn Larvestas by gaining the Sparkling Power and Encounter Power: Fire food buffs, both at level 3. This can be done by making a sandwich with the following ingredients:

    • x1 Basil
    • x1 Salty Herba Mystica
    • x1 Spicy Herba Mystica

Once you have the buff, you can simply wait near the edge while looking out for the shiny Larvesta through the Larvestas that spawn. The shiny one has yellow horns instead of the regular red horns. There are around 4 spawn points on the lower level to look over, and once there are around 15 Larvestas on the screen without any shiny, you can then set up a picnic to reset the spawns.

Continue doing the picnic reset technique until you find a shiny Larvesta or as long as you have the food buff.
