Focus Entertainment and Mundfish have recently released the new Atomic Heart The Atomic Way trailer and it seems to be throwing shade at a certain popular and controversial game.
The trailer is a live-action one where it stars a child wearing a wizard costume trying to cast a spell on a dummy which represents the monstrous robots in the game. After failing to cast a spell, the child breaks her wand and gets frustrated, but a hand suddenly touches her shoulder. The camera pans to the left and we get to see who it is: actor Jensen Ackles. He is known for his popular roles as Dean in Supernatural and Soldier Boy in The Boys.
Ackles in this live action trailer is Major Nechayev and he has the same glove and weapons as the protagonist in the game. The girl asks him how they would survive the robot apocalypse to which Ackles replies, “Watch and learn.” He then proceeds to whack all of the dummies on his way, use his powerful electric glove, and destroy a final target that explodes into a splooge.
Interestingly enough, the girl is wearing a wizard outfit, which seems to be parodying a certain wizard game that got released. Yes, she is a parody of a character in Hogwarts Legacy and it seems the trailer is saying that magic does not work in this game. Only technology and action does the deed.

Atomic Heart launches on February 21, 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
