The Jonsau Shrine is among the various shrines that can be found on the Hyrule Surface in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This shrine is all about the Deep Force Challenge, where Link will have to use the power of buoyancy to get through the obstacles.

Read ahead as we go through the steps in order to solve the deep force challenge of the Jonsau Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

    Jonsau Shrine Location

The Jonsau Shrine can be found in the Lanayru Wetlands, Hyrule Surface, with coordinates 1746, 0010, 0024. The nearest tower is the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower.

    Jonsau Shrine Walkthrough

To solve the Jonsau Shrine, you will need to overcome three challenges that all involve making buoyant objects hit targets that are up high.

For the first obstacle, use Ultrahand on the yellow ball, then submerge it underwater just directly below the target. Then, let go of the ball, and it should shoot upwards, hit the target, and open the gate to the next room.

Defeat the enemy in the next room, then proceed to the second obstacle. For this second one, pick up the board and orient it so that it is standing with the long side perpendicular to the ground. Submerge it underwater below the target and let go. It should also shoot upward, hit the target, and open the next gate.

For the last obstacle, you will need to do the same thing with the ball to hit the board that has been jammed below the lift. Once the lift is free, it should fall down; make sure to move the ball away from it so that you can climb on top of it. Finally, use Recall on the lift so that it can bounce back up to the level where the statues are. Claim your Light of Blessing to complete the shrine.

That’s how to solve the Jonsau Shrine; you’re now one step closer from completing all 152 shrines in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You can go to our other Shrine guides to collect more Lights of Blessing:
