Square Enix has revealed a new Final Fantasy VII Rebirth trailer officially confirming its release window and a surprising new detail.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Release Window Confirmed
During the Summer Game Fest 2023, it was confirmed that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will have a release window of early 2024. A new trailer was also revealed showcasing the new features that the remake did not have like an open world, Red XIII as a playable character, Aerith summoning Tifa to fight when she is not active in the party, the reveal of the rookie Turk Elena. There was also a scene at Cosmo Canyon, a familiar one for those who have played the game but it seems to have been jumbled with other scenes from other parts of the story.
What a Big Twist
Aside from the release window, it has been confirmed that the game will be quite big and that it needs two discs to play on PS5. That’s right, this will be the very first PS5 game that will have two discs.
