Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially revealed the PS Plus Essential September 2023 free games.
PS Plus Essential September 2023 Lineup
The month of August is ending soon, which is time to reveal the new lineup of PS Plus monthly games and this time for September 2023. Just like what the leaks revealed, one of the games coming to PS Plus is Saints Row, and yes, it is the newest one with bad reviews. The other two titles are Black Desert – Traveler Edition and Generation Zero.
All of these titles will be available from Tuesday, September 5, 2023 until Monday, October 2, 2023.
Free Games
Saints Row – PS4, PS5
Saints Row is the first title coming to PS Plus Essential, which only came out last year. Come back to the world of Santo Ileso, a sandbox filled with side hustles, criminal ventures, and blockbuster missions, as players shoot, drive, and wingsuit their way to the top. However, it did not have a good launch, so bringing it back to PS Plus might help out a lot.
Black Desert – Traveler Edition – PS4
This is an open-world fantasy MMORPG that boasts fast-paced PvE combat, large-scale PvP siege wars, multiple character classes and combat types to specialize in. Players can choose to dedicate to variety of pursuits like trade, fishing, horse training, and more. The Traveler Edition is a bundle that includes base game and multiple add-ons.
Generation Zero
Generation Zero is a first-person open world adventure set in a familiar but hostile open world of 1980s Sweden. Players will have to fight and survive deadly machine enemies alone or with three friends in seamless online co-op to discover the truth behind what happened to the region.
PS Plus Price Increase
Aside from the free games, SIE has revealed the new prices for the PS Plus 12-month subscriptions that will affect globally across all benefit plans. Here are the new prices:

PlayStation Plus Extra 12-Month Subscription
134.99 USD | 125,99 Euro | 99.99 GBP | 11,700 Yen
PlayStation Plus Premium 12-Month Subscription
159.99 USD | 151,99 Euro | 119.99 GBP | 13,900 Yen
The new prices for the 12-month subscription will remain at a discounted rate when compared to purchasing the 1-month or 3-month subscriptions.
Subscribers who already got 12-month subscription will not have a price increase until the next renewal date that occurs on or after November 6, 2023. Any membership changes that will be made on or after September 6, 2023 like upgrades, downgrades or buying additional time will update the plan reflecting the new prices.
